Pysanky, also known as the art of Ukrainian Easter Eggs, is a method of creating colorful intricate patterns on eggs bydrawing with a wax pen and using a sequential dyeing method.
The wax pens (kistkas) are heated over acandle and used to decorate raw eggs.
