I will bring all thematerials, your supply kits, the eggs, the dyes, and everything, you just need to bring yourself, ready to have a great time. In your kits you will have a booklet with several different designs that you will go step by step in making your pysanka, blackened beeswax, two candles, a kistka, history and color and symbol meanings, a page of different tricks to prepare your egg, 4 powdered aniline dyes to make up at home and other things. You will have a tool called a kistkawhich you will melt blackened beeswax in and you will then draw on the egg and just follow the design, drawing first on the white shell, then dyeing it yellow, then drawing more wax lines on top of the yellow dye, then it will go into orange dye, again you will add more wax lines, then dye it red, again adding more wax, then finishing the background in a black. After this is done the egg is quite ugly, all black and covered with beeswax that has hardened onto the shell, I will then drill a hole in the bottom and empty the insides of the raw egg out, then we will melt thebeeswax off of the shell, and viola! Your gorgeous design that you’ve worked on appears, I then will spray it will a UV protection and you have a miniature masterpiece! Anybody can do this, you don’t need any special art skills to make one of these gorgeous eggs, and they will then last forever.
